Privacy Policy

This Policy explains the information ClipSyncro processes when you create an account, make a payment, submit a script or generate media.

ClipSyncro is operated by Arowolo Uthman. Privacy questions and data requests can be sent to support@clipsyncro.com.

1. Information we collect

Account information. We collect your email address for sign-in, email verification, service messages and support. If you provide a display name, we associate it with your account. Passwords are stored in protected hashed form rather than as readable passwords.

Payment and subscription information. Payments are processed through Lemon Squeezy. We receive information needed to fulfil a purchase and maintain your credit balance or subscription, such as customer identifiers, order or invoice identifiers, purchased plan or top-up amount, payment status and subscription status. ClipSyncro does not store your complete card number or card security code.

Content and outputs. We process scripts, prompts, source selections, uploaded or referenced materials and settings that you submit for generation. We store generated videos, thumbnails and associated job status so you can view or download results and so support can investigate failures. If you use the transcript tool, we process the YouTube URL or video identifier and transcript result needed to provide that tool.

Operational information. We may process basic request records, IP address and failure logs needed to secure accounts, enforce rate limits, prevent trial or payment abuse, diagnose failed jobs and respond to support requests. This is operational security and service data, not advertising tracking.

2. How we use information

3. Cookies

ClipSyncro uses a session/authentication cookie so that signed-in pages can recognise your account securely. This cookie is required to provide sign-in and authenticated features. We do not use advertising cookies, tracking pixels or third-party analytics cookies on the ClipSyncro site.

Your browser may also store interface preferences, such as light or dark theme, locally on your device. That preference is not used to track you across websites.

4. Service providers and disclosure

We share information only as necessary to operate ClipSyncro: Lemon Squeezy processes checkout, subscription billing and refund handling; hosting and storage providers process the application and generated files; generation providers process submitted inputs required to produce the requested output; and email delivery services send account and support communications.

We may disclose information where required by law, to protect the service or its users, to address fraud or payment disputes, or as part of a business transfer subject to appropriate protection. We do not sell your personal information or provide it to advertisers for targeting.

5. Retention

Scripts and generated media: submitted scripts and finished videos or thumbnails are retained with your account so you can retrieve your job history and downloads. You may request deletion of this content at any time. Following a verified content or account deletion request, we delete the requested scripts and generated media from active service storage within 30 days, unless we must temporarily retain a specific record to investigate fraud, a payment dispute or a legal request.

Account information: your email, profile and authentication record are kept while your account remains open. Following a verified account-deletion request, we close the account and delete or de-identify account information within 30 days, subject to records that must be retained for billing, tax, refund, chargeback, fraud-prevention or legal purposes.

Billing records: transaction, subscription, refund and dispute records received from Lemon Squeezy may be retained for accounting, payment-dispute and legal recordkeeping requirements after account closure. These records do not include full card details stored by ClipSyncro.

Transcripts and diagnostic material: fetched transcript cache entries may be retained for up to 24 hours to avoid duplicate retrieval. Failed-job logs may be retained as needed to resolve support and refund claims and to diagnose service errors.

6. Your access, export and deletion choices

You may request a copy or export of the account data and generated content we hold about you, correction of inaccurate profile information, deletion of specific generated content, or deletion of your account. Send a request from your account email address to support@clipsyncro.com with the subject line Privacy request and state whether you want access/export, correction or deletion.

We may need to confirm account ownership before fulfilling a request. Deletion does not cancel payment obligations already incurred or require deletion of transaction records that we reasonably need for refunds, disputes, accounting or legal compliance.

7. Security

We use reasonable technical and organisational measures appropriate to a small cloud-hosted service, including authenticated account access and limiting payment-card handling to Lemon Squeezy. No internet service can promise absolute security. Please use a unique password and notify us promptly if you suspect unauthorised account access.

8. Children

ClipSyncro is not directed to children under 13 and we do not knowingly seek personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has submitted personal information, contact us so we can investigate and delete it where appropriate.

9. Changes and contact

We may update this Policy as the service, providers or retention practices change. The current version is identified by the last-updated date above. For privacy questions, data export or deletion requests, contact support@clipsyncro.com.
